Government Economic Service

Brief
The Government Economic Service (GES) asked us to refresh their social media presence by creating a suite of templates. The designs needed to work for two distinct audiences: Civil Servants within the GES profession, and prospective recruits – including recent graduates and students studying economics related subjects.

Solution
The InDesign templates enable the team to easily add their own imagery and messaging while maintaining a strong, consistent brand identity. A range of layout options allows for different types of content and helps keep the feed looking fresh. Accessibility is prioritised by placing text on solid colour blocks rather than over images. The templates are designed to be user-friendly, reducing the risk of errors from non-designers. A limited colour palette is used to reinforce brand recognition, with red and black chosen for their strong economic connotations.
