Fair Pay Agreement

Brief
To support the launch of a public consultation on the Fair Pay Agreement for adult social care, DHSC asked us to create an animation to help raise awareness of the agreement, and encourage people to have their say. They wanted the animation to be easy to digest, feel uplifting and not look too stereotypically clinical. A short version was required for social media, as well as a longer version to be hosted on YouTube.

Solution
We created illustrations of a variety of care scenarios and settings, showing only a few props in colour tints rather than a full background. This helped to give a sense of place, while allowing the people and messaging to stand out. Pastel versions of the DHSC brand colours give the design a positive and gentle feel, and a simple collage-like animation style, with elements appearing in one at a time, brings it to life.
